Joe Biden has no "red line" for Israel

Red Line: a limit beyond which someone's behavior is no longer acceptable.

Joe Biden has no "red line" for Israel despite the fact that Israel has killed and maimed more than 100,000 Palestinians in six months.

*The number killed includes the 10,000 people buried under the rubble.

Joe Biden has no "red line" for Israel despite the fact that Israel has targeted and killed journalists and aid workers.

  • At least 262 aid workers have been killed by Israel since October 7, 2023.

The number of aid workers killed by Israeli forces in Gaza is larger than all aid worker deaths worldwide in every year since 1997, when the aid worker database started collecting figures.

  • At least 147 journalists and media workers have been killed by Israel since October 7, 2023.

Gaza has become the deadliest place on earth for journalists, with a record-breaking number of journalists and media workers killed in one location in less than a year.

Joe Biden has no "red line" for Israel despite the fact that Israel has systematically targeted hospitals.

84 percent of health facilities in Gaza have been destroyed or damaged by Israeli forces. In addition to Israeli forces systematically targeting hospitals and other health facilities, there has also been an intentional targeting of healthcare workers in Gaza. At least 493 healthcare workers have been killed by Israeli Occupation Forces since October 7, 2023.

Joe Biden has no "red line" for Israel despite the fact that Israel has systematically targeted both those seeking and delivering aid.

More than 560 Palestinians have been targeted and killed and hundreds more injured by Israeli forces while waiting for aid in Gaza. Incidents of Israel targeting those waiting for aid have been an almost daily occurence for months. Additionally, at least 262 aid workers have been killed while attempting to deliver critical aid in Gaza.

Joe Biden has no “red line” for Israel despite the fact that Israel is using starvation as a weapon of war.

It is a war crime under international law to deny people access to food and water. Israel has been deliberately using starvation as a weapon of war since its genocide in Gaza began. According to a March report from humanitarian group Refugees International, Israel has "consistently and groundlessly impeded aid operations within Gaza, blocked legitimate relief operations and resisted implementing measures that would enhance the flow of humanitarian aid into Gaza." Northern Gaza is now experiencing a famine. At least 27 Palestinian children have died from malnutrition and dehydration, with the UN stating that “the true death toll from starvation is likely to be significantly higher.”

Joe Biden has no “red line” for Israel despite the fact that Israel has made Gaza uninhabitable.

  • At least 62% of residential buildings have been destroyed or damaged

  • 84% of health facilities destroyed or damaged

  • 92% of primary roads destroyed or damaged

  • 100% of college universities destroyed

  • More than 80% of school buildings damaged

  • 26 million tons of debris and rubble created

Joe Biden has indicated in both words and actions that he has no real “red line” for Israel. After nearly 7 months of a genocide that has only been able to occur because of the full, unwavering support of the United States, President Joe Biden has made mention of a “red line” for Israel just once.

In a March 9th interview with MSNBC, Biden said that Israel’s planned invasion of Rafah would be a “red line” but also said in the same interview that he would never pull his support of Israel. His continued sending of weapons solidifies this.

Because Biden has no "red line' for Israel, his administration continues to send weapons to aid and abet in the genocide in Gaza. The administration has sent more than 100 shipments of weapons to Israel since October 7, 2023.
